MERN Stack Developer

Dum Dum Heights, 6/2 Jessore Road, Dum Dum, Kolkata- 700028

PROFILE

Driven and detail-oriented web developer with a strong passion for building intuitive, user-centric websites and applications with a solid foundation in the MERN Stack, trained at Webskitters Academy. Passionate about building dynamic, user-first websites with clean design, responsive layouts, and smooth functionality. I enjoy experimenting with new libraries and features, often reverse-engineering modern web elements to understand how they work under the hood.

Completed a full SDLC-based group project, gaining real-world insight into collaborative development — from understanding team dynamics and workflows to ensuring seamless communication and shared goals. I prioritize code readability and maintainability, aiming to write efficient backend logic and scalable APIs that align with user needs.

Known for taking initiative, constantly leveling up through self-learning, and brainstorming ways to make web interfaces more intuitive and engaging. I believe great developers don’t just write code — they craft experiences.

Personal Project/s

Project Name :

ZENit – Full-Stack Social Media Web App

Description :

A feature-rich social platform built using Next.js (TypeScript) for the frontend and Node.js, Express, and MongoDB on the backend. ZENit lets users explore posts, react, and comment after logging in. It’s designed for meaningful interaction—users can send friend requests, follow users, and chat in real-time, making it easy to make new friends online. The platform includes smart features like post/user search, profile editing or account deactivation, content reporting, and a safe environment that hides explicit content from minors. An integrated admin panel allows moderators to review reports and take action to maintain community standards, ensuring a fun and secure experience for everyone.

Project Name :

NovaCare – Smart Hospital Management Platform

Description :

A role-based web application built for seamless doctor-patient interactions. Developed with Next.js (TypeScript), Node.js, Express, and MongoDB, NovaCare supports two user roles: doctors and patients. Doctors can register, upload qualifications, manage their profiles, and handle appointments from a dedicated dashboard. Admins can review doctor applications, approve/reject candidates, assign schedules, set consultation fees, and monitor key analytics like yearly income trends and specialty-wise doctor distribution. Patients receive login credentials via email upon registration, enabling them to book, view, or cancel appointments with preferred doctors based on specialty and availability. NovaCare streamlines medical access while offering an intuitive admin panel for efficient hospital oversight.

Project Name :

Eventra – Event Management System (Backend only)

Description :

Built as part of an SDLC project at Webskitters Academy, Eventra is a role-based event management platform featuring Attendees, Organizers, and Admins. I focused on backend development using Node.js, Express, MongoDB, and Nodemailer implementing secure authentication and scalable APIs. Organizers (companies) can manage events across categories like Concerts, Exhibitions, Webinars, and Charity Events, etc, assigning artists/hosts and setting online/offline modes and ticket prices. Attendees can browse events, book tickets, and leave reviews post-attendance. Admins can oversee all users and events, and perform account deletions with automated email notifications, including reasons for deletion. The system ensures smooth event handling, dynamic ticket management, and a structured review system for quality engagement.
